On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Minusio’s Ristorante del Ponte turns 20 years old and celebrates this important milestone with an evening open to the entire community, loyal customers and those who wish to discover our cuisine for the first time.
A story of passion and tradition
Founded in 2005 by Tomas and Angela Protrkic, Ristorante del Ponte was born with the idea of offering a cozy, family-friendly place to enjoy wholesome dishes and share special moments.
In these two decades, the restaurant has become a landmark in Minusio and throughout the Locarno region, recognized especially for its famous basket chicken cooked in a wood-fired oven, as well as for its homemade cordon bleu, fresh gnocchi and fondue.
The 20th anniversary party
To celebrate with you, we have organized an evening full of music, special guests and of course good food:
- 6 p.m. – Rich aperitif with welcome buffet for all guests 🍷🍴
- 8:00 p.m. – Start of the special dinner for those who wish to stay for a meal
- 🎶 Musical entertainment with singer and DJ Alessandra Canzio
- 👥 With the participation of the municipal authorities of Minusio:

- 🎙️ Special guest: Amalia Mirante, Member of the Grand Council of the Avanti Ticino and Labor movement

Admission to the event is free: we look forward to seeing you in large numbers to toast 20 years of tradition, passion and hospitality together.
Those who wish can stay for dinner, with reservations recommended.
